I tried it once and it makes you feel more relaxed therefore you dont stress about situations so technically yes

in terms of lowering inhibition its cope, it might have some other benefits like better sleep or help with stress but it depends on each person, sometimes its just placebo

if you want to actually lower inhibition look into alcohol, phenibut, pregabalin, maybe cannabis

I remember taking ashwaganda in like early 2023 for a few months. Might’ve made me calmer but 99.9% sure it was pure placebo. Also used to make me shit badly for some reason

it does lower your inhibition, cortisol, reduce stress, and increases testosterone levels(but not very much). But it only works if your gut health is on point and you work out. and most important factor of ashwagandha is how many witanolides it has, it should be at least 40 per serving
