depends on the therapist. they can be okay but its mostly something you use to vent to and grow with more over time. think of it like a journal but with a live person.
also lets differentiate this from psychiatrists, who are the types who provide medication and can give you a diagnosis for a mental condition which is unrelated from therapy.

personally, I think that there is nothing wrong with going to a therapist. it's better to keep an open mind and expose yourself to takes that you might have not considered. it only has a net benefit.
having a black pill philosophy isn't a "truth" more like an interpretation or understanding. this is the best understanding that you have until you are proven otherwise. this is an echo chamber so you wont get the best takes on your situation on a personal level.
The black pill applies to everyone differently. that's why it doesn't make any sense to some people because it just doesn't align with their personal experiences.
I like to give people the opportunity to prove otherwise, and see if there is any flaws in my logic or behavior. You don't have to go in thinking that you will be blue pilled at all. Unless your therapist can point to a legitimate flaw in you logic you wont get blue pilled. if you're not confident in it, then you aren't that blackpilled.
If the therapist gives you boring takes that aren't really nuanced or make any sense then you can just stop, or change therapists.
