Nah it affects every collegeWas only 2 colleges. Won’t be gone anytime to soon.
Lol they’re acting like black people are taking their spots when the school is like 3% black jflPpl don’t understand what affirmative action means, most of these units are less than 10% black anyway, and legacy admissions is a much bigger issue
No it was only Harvard and UNC. Even then, only the conservative states go through with it.Nah it affects every college
Legit went to one of these elite unis and was accepted into Most of themWas only 2 colleges. Won’t be gone anytime to soon.
California and other blue states banned race based affirmative action a long time ago cuz their states have more Asians. It’s actually AsiansNo it was only Harvard and UNC. Even then, only the conservative states go through with it.
Those are the ones who got sued I got an email from my college (I go to one of these so called “elite” unis) about how they are disappointed but will follow the lawNo it was only Harvard and UNC. Even then, only the conservative states go through with it.
Legacy admission and donor stuff is a bigger issue for the high end private units imo tbhCalifornia and other blue states banned race based affirmative action a long time ago cuz their states have more Asians. It’s actually Asians
Ppl ignore the fact that 40% of white kods at Harvard are legacy or faculty’s kids and just blame it on black ppl
But I believe the Supreme Court ruled against affirmative action as a practice, meaning all other schools must follow suit
just because so few of them qualify even with affirmative action doesn't mean people aren't being discriminated against as a result. all qualification standards beyond actual academic performance should be overturned.Lol they’re acting like black people are taking their spots when the school is like 3% black jfl
It’s usually 20-25 percent Hispanic and black 27 percent at Harvard for example.Lol they’re acting like black people are taking their spots when the school is like 3% black jfl
The states still have the final say. Most democratic states won’t go through with it. Kinda like Roe V Wade. But yea people love to dick ride blacksCalifornia and other blue states banned race based affirmative action a long time ago cuz their states have more Asians. It’s actually Asians

Yes those are the ones I’m talking about. The Stanford, Harvards, and Princeton tier schools which I went to.Legacy admission and donor stuff is a bigger issue for the high end private units imo tbh
My college already sent an email that implied they will have to abide even tho they don’t want to I don’t live in any of those two states. It will eventually apply to other colleges if it’s not that way because they would get sued in the same wayThe states still have the final say. Most democratic states won’t go through with it. Kinda like Roe V Wade. But yea people love to dick ride blacks
The blue states are more likely to do it imo, cuz they have more Asian constituents. Again, it’s alresdy been banned in California and other blue states for public unis for decadesThe states still have the final say. Most democratic states won’t go through with it. Kinda like Roe V Wade. But yea people love to dick ride blacks
Facts I didn’t get into the elite public one I wanted to get int for the major I wanted it’s brootal I gotta pay all thsi doughYes those are the ones I’m talking about. The Stanford, Harvards, and Princeton tier schools which I went to.
However public school admissions are getting crazy too I’ll admit. It used to be anyone with a 3.8 and 1350 SAT score could get into UCLA, Georgia tech, UNC
but more schools like that have like 12% acceptance rates. That was the acceptance of like Cornell less than a decade ago
I wonder why it’s so hard to get into a good school nowadays
which is one of the benefits, more competition means higher overall standards and more motivation for those who are academically inclined. a lot of universities are nothing more than an extension of high school. universities should be more exclusiveGlad that im done with that college shit.
I’d suckstart a 12 gauge if I had to go to a school with 50% chinamen
Would you say UCs have been effective with adhering to no AA or you think they’re using “holistic admissions” as a method to admit more minority students? The blue states are more likely to do it imo, cuz they have more Asian constituents. Again, it’s alresdy been banned in California and other blue states for public unis for decades
You’re not entitled to a college just because of your test scores. First of all you’re competing with other people just as smart as you to a school with like a 5% acceptance rate. Second Asians are overrepresented so they’re just looking for diversity.just because so few of them qualify even with affirmative action doesn't mean people aren't being discriminated against as a result. all qualification standards beyond actual academic performance should be overturned.
UCs are exceptionally non black imo. I think the black student population is like 2-3% at UCLA. At least at Stanford it’s like 7%. I think for the most part the UCs adhere to itWould you say UCs have been effective with adhering to no AA or you think they’re using “holistic admissions” as a method to admit more minority students?
they're discriminating against asians in favor of blacks and hispanics, ie whichever ethnicities are underperforming and thus require a reduction in admission standards. asians must achieve higher standards than even whites.Would you say UCs have been effective with adhering to no AA or you think they’re using “holistic admissions” as a method to admit more minority students?
Jamal who made it out of the hood and graduated valedictorian is more interesting that Asian bot #782 @looksmaxxedYou’re not entitled to a college just because of your test scores. If an Asian student has better academic stats and is deemed to have higher impact ECs or whatever, why shouldn’t the Asian student have the inherent right to be admitted over a minority studentYou’re not entitled to a college just because of your test scores. Not how affirmative action works. If two people have the same results but one is more interesting, they’ll take the interesting oneIf an Asian student has better academic stats and is deemed to have higher impact ECs or whatever, why shouldn’t the Asian student have the inherent right to be admitted over a minority student
Affirmative action does not mean they’re accepting less qualified blacks over more qualified AsiansIf an Asian student has better academic stats and is deemed to have higher impact ECs or whatever, why shouldn’t the Asian student have the inherent right to be admitted over a minority student
yeah affirmative action directly applies laterally towards different races in the same economic bracket. That’s not fairAffirmative action does not mean they’re accepting less qualified blacks over more qualified Asians
Also half this shit is opportunity. Ling at Princeton high school has the opportunity to intern at SpaceX in high school. Jamal didn’t. So why should Jamal be punished

test scores reflect academic ability and intellectual capacity, of course they should take precedence over meaningless metrics like diversity. those with greater academic aptitude will be more able and inclined to capitalize on their education and make meaningful contributions in the world. the fact that other admissions issues exists doesn't justify affirmative actionYou’re not entitled to a college just because of your test scores. Should be based on economic class then not raceJamal who made it out of the hood and graduated valedictorian is more interesting that Asian bot #782 @looksmaxxed
It sets a precedent so everyone will follow. No it was only Harvard and UNC. Even then, only the conservative states go through with it.
You need good test scores to get into ivy leagues in the first place buddy. Why do you guys act like just by being black you get a full ride to Harvardtest scores reflect academic ability and intellectual capacity, of course they should take precedence over meaningless metrics like diversity. those with greater academic aptitude will be more able and inclined to capitalize on their education and make meaningful contributions in the world. the fact that other admissions issues exists doesn't justify affirmative action
That is true. But not in the way you think. “Oh ne made a 1570 but she made a 1580 let’s let her in” makes no sense bc at that level the 1 question difference actually has been shown to have no impact on students college performancetest scores reflect academic ability and intellectual capacity, of course they should take precedence over meaningless metrics like diversity. those with greater academic aptitude will be more able and inclined to capitalize on their education and make meaningful contributions in the world. the fact that other admissions issues exists doesn't justify affirmative action
One major issue, as I know west point and harvard students, they were the most well-rounded people I have met, literal robots, peak efficient human, looks to match. But then you get robots who studymaxx all day for a 4.0+ and do nothing else and expect to coast into a school that prioritizes legacy, culture, and education. You need good test scores to get into ivy leagues in the first place buddy. Why do you guys act like just by being black you get a full ride to Harvard@whiteissuperior
except the spot isnt taken by jamal but rather by ibrahim from nigeria. you would know more than me since you actually went to a top college so correct me but most successful black people i see on linkedin have african last namesAffirmative action does not mean they’re accepting less qualified blacks over more qualified Asians
Also half this shit is opportunity. Ling at Princeton high school has the opportunity to intern at SpaceX in high school. Jamal didn’t. So why should Jamal be punished
Funniest shit is when chad gets into college on a 3.0 gpa with a academic scholarship and fucks all the girls on campusPpl ignore the fact that 40% of white kods at Harvard are legacy or faculty’s kids and just blame it on black ppl
True except actual Africans perform just as well as Asians in college and university so clearly it’s not just race but you’re mostly rightexcept the spot isnt taken by jamal but rather by ibrahim from nigeria. you would know more than me since you actually went to a top college so correct me but most successful black people i see on linkedin have african last names
make no mistake. the root of this issue is the disparity between asian and african academic capabilities but nobody wants to admit it because your average asians cant dunk a ball jumping 2 feet in the air
personally i think nature should take its course but there will never be a fix for legacy admissions because jewish people benefit massively from it and placing themselves as white
Being a recruited athlete is truly everything. Put your children on peds during highschoolFunniest shit is when chad gets into college on a 3.0 gpa with a academic scholarship and fucks all the girls on campus
