Thoughts on benzoyl peroxide 5%

Ive been using it for like 5 weeks almost every night and my skin is dry but not that much and I mostly have problem with pimples on my chin area and bc i dobt have acne i chose benzoyl peroxide and now im thinking to switch to something else. Any recommendations on should i stay or switch

BPO is worst for acne, i got dark post acne(pie or pih idk) from it
