my eyes are a bit close set but my pfl brows and lashes save it, the real issue is too wide zygos for my eye spacing. is cheekbone shaving valid? i never see this procedure being discussed on the forum as i guess most people want bigger zygos instead

even if you ignore the makeup in the after you can see how it makes her eyes look wider set

i have this problem too but i never knew what it was called, would increasing my pfl create the illusion of a better esr?

wider pfl can make the eyes look even closer set. my ipd is average but my pfl is too wide for my eye spacing, looks like cookie king

dang, so is cheekbone reduction the only way to fix this? idk if this is a cope, but i just try to cover the sides of my face with my hair so it doesn't look as bad
i think my esr is around 0.43-0.44

@mohi_100 thoughts??
It's a valid point. To alter ipd itself, box osteotomy is required which is a very complicated procedure. The better way to increase esr is to lower the bizygo width via cheekbone shaving

Would reducing the horizontal width of the midface with this (bzgw), and also the lower third(bgw) be a good idea for those seeking a more feminine appearance and would this also make the eyes appear bigger?

You’ll need to go to South Korea to get this done. It’s not really done in the west.

Reducing both bizygo and bigonial width won't change how jaw width is seen since both measurements are changing together but it will lower the fwhr. I don't think it would look feminine, it'll just give a leptoprosopic look.
The only way to make eyes appear bigger is lateral cantho which can increase the pfl

You are saying the surgeons reduce both equally which is why it wouldnt change? That makes sense

But more importantly lowering the fwhr itself would make the face smaller and more feminine looking no

Im not sure if these examples look leptoprosopic but these are quick google searches of either FFS or cheekbone and jawline contouring/shaving

They clearly have softer features which goes in hand with feminine

Yes, the jaw width ratio is basically bizygo/bigonial width.

I agree, it becomes less masculine.
One other thing to consider is that most patients here had narrow jaw too, and shaving cheekbones made their face look more harmonious overall so it doesn't give the long face look
