Thoughts on doing DIY Subcision?

Basically don't want to spend $500 on some retard aesthetician to fix my atrophic acne scars. I've read many cases of people getting no results/not hearing popping sounds bc their subcision got fucked up (by actual derms not aestheticians).

My plan: use blunt cannula to avoid possible ligament tears/facial sagging. Low risk of any permanent damage

Bad idea? I literally don't trust these underpaid chinks especially if they aren't using a blunt cannula. At least if I do it myself I can physically feel everything and make sure I'm working in the right layer. Thoughts?

Also how tf do you know if you're in the right layer? You need to go subq but how do you know you're there?

How do you know if you are in the right layer? I was going to do it a while ago but am scared to insert the needle wrong cuz I have never self injected

it feels smooth when u push and therell be some resistance. The layer u want to insert it into is around like 2-3 mm under the skin i think

Can you enter in from anywhere on your cheeks as long as there are no ligaments there?

Should I still try to untether scars located right above the zygomatic and masseteric ligaments or just ignore them? I have quite a bit of scars around those ligaments and I'll be using a blunt cannula
