I’m class 3 and my chin is vertically too long. Current plan is just lefort 1 to move my upper jaw forward, but there is also an option to get a DJS in order to set my lower jaw back a bit to reduce the height of my lower third potentially.
The surgeon told me that she would rather not set back my lower jaw. My SNA is 79.5 degrees and SNB is 84, I would say my lower jaw is not prognathic neccessarily. Though the upper end of average is 82 I think.
I’ve barely seen any chin reduction results for males with genio, but my ortho kind of agreed with throwing in the genio since the bone of my chin itself is a bit too long.
AND NO I’m not downward grown.
