Humans only care about things that benefit their emotions.
Humans lack the capacity to care for others, due to their selfish nature.
Humans didnt choose to be selfish. They were born that way.
We all want want to be loved, cared for, and care for someone else. We are all looking for happiness and fun.
We all want to feel included.
Although our feelings are superficial, they feel real.
Humans don't care for your emotions, they care about how you make them feel.
If you dont hit the requirements for another human, they wont want to be with you.
If you do hit the requirements for another human they will want to be with you.
If they are with you, they wanted you.
If they arent with you, they didnt want you.
They can choose who to be with, whether they want you or someone else.
They didnt decide to be selfish, they were born that way.
Blaming a human for following its nature is similar to blaming a printer for printing. Its weak philosophically
Humans feel good in relationships where there is genuine attraction.
Feeling good leads to genuine interactions and connections.
Whether a person likes you for your personality or your looks, they are still acting in a selfish manner. (Would they like you if you had a bad personality?)
If humans act selfishly vs unselfishly in order to achieve happiness, it wouldn't matter because the end result is still the same (satisfaction and happiness).
A man feels better with a partner.
A women feels better with a partner.
My philosophy: Since I feel better with a partner, and since the partner didnt choose to be selfish, and since they chose to be with me, and our interaction and relationship leads to real feelings of genuine interaction and fulfillment, it would be stupid to deny myself a relationship just because it's "selfish".
