Thoughts on IPR to reduce teeth flaring?

I know teeth extractions will ruin the face by giving it a flattened look, but will IPR (interproximal tooth reduction) also result in a flattened look?

Just get your teeth removed beggars can't be choosers. Also flared teeth is a much bigger failo then any potential minor bone loss from extractions.
