Thoughts on killing off the homeless?

From an American perspective, within our country, the vast majority of homeless people are mentally ill, intellectually disabled, drug addicts, severely disabled, and essentially beyond help. I've seen this notion of people suggesting simply throwing them into an insane asylum. However, asylums have historically been known for abuse, so from that standpoint of causing more suffering, theoretically, what would be wrong with just killing them off, ending their lives peacefully in a "humane" way, similar to Canada’s MAID program?

And because of silly comments like this one, it is why homeless people are pushing working folks and tourists into incoming trains. Also note, the sucker punch, sexual assaults, and when joyriding, running people over.

In other words, folks like you are what's fueling these violent acts.
