Thoughts on mouth widening device

Just wondering if the plastic thingy really works. I also saw you can 3D print these so if it works it might be a nice and cheap thing to get.

Yeah, but gives you wrinkles and requires constant usage. Also have minimal results

i have a pretty decent mouth to nose width ratio but still would like to make it wider. because of religious purposes i don’t want to cut the corner of my mouth so i was wondering if this is a "good" alternative
