thoughts on solaray tongkat ali (400mg daily) as a AI?

ive been taking tongkat ali, and I looked up what it does specfically and read that it inhibits aromatase. is tongkat alone sufficient enough as an aromatase inhibitor to delay the closure of my growth plates, or would i have to take aromasin for that to actually occur?
also in regards to crashing my estrogen and having negative health effects of this like harming my brain development, would tongkat ali also do this?
