Looks shit af. They're milking the 'Final Fantasy' title. It could've been called something else and it would sell less and reviewed less highly.

FFVII remake was the only good universally acclaimed game FF since FF10 (released in 2001) JFL.

FFXIV is an exception because online MMORPG and not in the same league as traditional JRPGs they just feel different. I've played like 20-ish FF title and none of them have been MMORPG.

Final Fantasy is dead. I still nostalgiamaxx playing the golden era from VII-X.

I would recommend playing FFX if you haven't.
Still holds up today. Go in blind without looking up online. Shit made me cry like a baby at the end

Each mainline FF is an independent story. If you've played games like Persona it's very similar - but not as long winded.

I would recommend playing FFX (best for beginners to JRPGs) and then FFVII remake.

I wish I could reply FFX again for the first time I've played it so many times it never gets old. Regarding FFVII, the events about the game since it releases in 1997 are public knowledge. You probably already know who dies halfway through without having to Google. It's so bad they're even gonna 'change' the story in the remake JFL.

The 'old' FFs feel too old to play rn tbh even though they were mogger games back on PS1. Bear in mind like all JRPs they are story-driven games and quite linear - don't expect it to be free roaming like GTA lmao.

The games are good it's the show itself that was terrible. Not even a molecule of gameplay of tlou multiplayer or death stranding 2, ghost of tsushima 2, there was a lot of potential tbh. They didn't even drop spider man 2 release date but i've heard it's in September

Music is really great, especially when you free roam in that goblin village. The characters are excellent as well..it's something you have to play so you can get how good it is.
