The west is in decline, and I suspect China will usurp the west as a global force. Thus the west is being asked to "step down" in various areas, and permit China to take over. I think they have an understanding behind the scenes. This is why the west is currently remodelling its society based on China's, with lockdowns, social credit system, etc.

Those are rules of their first mandate more than 20 years ago, Taliban have made themselves more organised and have changed some of their rules.

Just yesterday a spokesman said this. Looks like they are going to be some sort of Sunni Iran, but who knows, i believe in a couple of days they will start issuing the laws and rulings of the country

Yes this, they are making amnesty so that women can now work in government, they all just need to wear hijab, its literally normal, they're going to school rn and work everythings back to normal and if people want to leave the taliban isnt stopping them

I don't think they are actually going to go back and implement all this rules, they'll probably be more liberal cause they want international legitimacy, I would say the only things I see them implementing is the dressing code and barring women from certain leadership positions.
