I don't like the look of any modern hair styles like this one. It reminds me of the marxists you see out on the street in LA, I prefer to let it grow out how it wants to grow, or get a normal looking trim. Does anyone have any good haircut reccomendations that don't look gay?

It's actually a hairstyle from the 1920s, it became mainstream again in the 2010s, but throughout the decades you see men sporting that haircut. Just look at 1:56 in this classic music video from the 1980s.
