Good for pulling ONS and being generally attractive to all types of women. Downsides are that you will often intimidate them and you won t be their first pic for a LTR, also if you don t match this pheno with high narcissism don t bother with it at all.

What about charming, yet introverted vampire? Feel like that would work too

Being high in narcissism doesn t make you extroverted, you could be an introvert and still be high in it. Being superficially charming is actually a good sign that you are high in narcissism and possibly ASP and is good for ONS and quote on quote using people, the only downside to it is that the longer you stay around people the more your charisma will fade unless you train yourself mentally.
Most ppl high in narcissism would benefit from dipping and skipping, meaning alternating periods of high sociability with periods of isolations as to not break the spell.

Why don't they just turn off the need to with people they don't consider worth it?

This is the curse of the narcissist, they enjoy attention as much as they enjoy air. They will put themselves in social situations even if they don t actually like the people they are with if it has the slightest chance of giving them validation. Narcissism in itself is found more in women than it is in men which is why you ll see more classical narcissistic behaviour in women than you do in men which are higher in psychopathy. Here s the story behind the word narcissist:

The term narcissism is derived from Narcissus, a character in Greek mythology best known from the telling in Roman poet Ovid's Metamorphoses, written in 8 CE. Book III of the poem tells the mythical story of a handsome young man, Narcissus, who spurns the advances of many potential lovers. When Narcissus rejects the nymph Echo, who was cursed to only echo the sounds that others made, the gods punish Narcissus by making him fall in love with his own reflection in a pool of water. When Narcissus discovers that the object of his love cannot love him back, he slowly pines away and dies.

The concept of excessive selfishness has been recognized throughout history. In ancient Greece, the concept was understood as hubris. Some religious movements such as the hussites attempted to rectify what they viewed as the shattering and narcissistic cultures of recent centuries.

This guy is a pretty good candidate. Low inhib, nihilistic and devoted to his missions.

Very interesting story bro 👌
Thanks for sharing :Comfy:

I find it interesting how Narcissists value quantity of people over quality.
I figured they'd turn off the need for approval with some folks that they view of lesser value, in order to reserve it for others (like you were saying about pulsing how often a narcissist would interact with other humans)..
But it turns out they are more "fair" than the rest of us :feelskek:

Even if they view everybody as below them, they value them all on roughly an equal playing field.. below them.. where they won't prefer one group over another.

Do you think this is more due to a greed for attention, resulting in them not caring who the person is, so long as they get validation... or is it more to do with how little they care for anybody else, that the difference between one and another is nil?

I'm asking this because I know somebody close to me who has narcissistic qualities, so I want to know which between two do you think contributes more?

Both, because they go hand in hand. They don t care for others outside themselves unless they can provide them with gratification so this results in them not caring who the person is. The thing is though that narcissists have a good radar for what type of ppl can give them the validation they require and which ones will not so they purposefully gather people around them that will validate their egos and keep at a distance people who will not or that can see through them.
