There's nothing noble about what that guy did. He's just a dirty common thief. The man he stole from is a presumably honest hard working citizen and he gave the money to a random homeless person who probably got there because of their own bad choices in life. He is making someone who made right choices in their life pay for the mistakes of others. You wanna do charity? Cool, do it with your own money. He is a loser who uses the money of others for charity and wants to pass himself off as a "hero of the less fortunate" to get sympathy points. It's ridiculous that people think he is cool.

robin hood theory
That's a very common modern misconception about Robin Hood.

People think of Robin Hood as someone who steals from the rich and gives to the poor, when in reality he was stealing money from the corrupt nobility that was overtaxing the common people. He was giving the money back to the people whose the money actually belonged to.

The Robin Hood book is set in the Feudal period, when all the rich were noble landlords, not in modern times when the rich are mostly businessmen, doctors, engineers, lawyers, etc. The modern rich earned their money fair and square through their work, the people who gave them money got equal value in return. Modern rich people become rich by providing value to others, who voluntarily choose to buy the goods and services of these rich people. It's all consensual and fair.

Meanwhile in the feudal period, the rich were just highborns who sat on their ass all day, provided zero value to anyone and just oppressively stole money from everyone that lived in their lands. The common folk had no choice but to pay heavy taxes to these rich assholes who would send soldiers to your house to force you to pay. That's who Robin Hood was stealing from. He was setting things right. He wasn't stealing money from someone who earned it fair and square. He was stealing from robbers and returning the money to the victims.

This makes ALL the difference in the world. It infuriates me to see modern leftists who understand nothing of economics or of history quoting Robin Hood as "one of their guys". He wasn't. He was against government and taxes, he was the opposite of a leftist.

People think of Robin Hood as someone who steals from the rich and gives to the poor, when he was actually stealing money from the corrupt nobility that was overtaxing the common people. He was giving the money back to the people whose the money actually belonged to.

But he is, the rich people we "leftist (actually communists, not the liberal scums)" hate are the ones that do nothing, have PEOPLE WORK 12 hours a day for them and make ton of money off it

How do you describe that as hard work? "but but they worked hard to get there" most of billionaires and millionaires were already born in good wealth
