Thumb pulling, and maxilla growth

So, many people see it as cope to thumb pull, but I have seen promising results from people as old as 25 online. It might be cooe but im still willing to try it, Someone on this forum also recommended chewing gum with incisors before hand as it will weaken sutures, so you will see growth sooner. The issue is, only my the upper part of my maxilla is actually reccesed, the bottom has decent forward growth. If i thumb pulled would i see more upper maxilla growth or lower maxilla growth?

It could work if you are young enough.

It would barely effect it sadly. because of the positioning you are using your tounge it would barely affect it at all

thumb pulling the lower jaw wouldnt work because there Is no sutures? or should i give it a shot? does it makes sense to try? I'm 20 yo and i have one very crooked tooth between my lower teeth :/
