The only reason why people called thumb pulling cope in the first place is because thier wasn’t constant pressure or consistent amount of force. But if you were really dedicated and thumb pulled like every 30 minutes for a couple of months in theory it would work perfectly fine.

Thumb pulling acts just the same as a reverse pull headgear infacet if you were consistent enough it would work better because you can put a lot more force into it when thumb pulling verses headgear. Since theirs more force that your able to apply you could bring your maxilla forward faster meaning that thumb pulling is far better than reverse pull headgear.

Ok, how often should one thumbpull? how many times in the day (sessions)? how much force to use? how long should per session?

In theory like every hour to 30 min which is basically impossible. But I would do it for like 60 seconds or more and use as much force as possible. Try to do it every hour but if not that’s fine

TBH you might be better off just getting reverse pull headgear. Idk how well thumbpulling actully works because it’s almost impossible to keep constant pressure for consistent results. I’ve noticed a bit of difference in the gaps of my teath but that could also be form my wisdom teath comeing in. It hasn’t really made a noticable difference yet though
