I took MK677 and noticed my bones were slightly more developed after I lost the weight. I only used it for 3 months and I didn’t mew or thumb pull at the time.
What if I used it for a longer time along with thumb pulling?

thumb pulling is cope

How? If palate expanders work then why can’t thumb pulling over a a long period of time?
you'd have to thumbpull for hoursss everyday for there to be anything and im unsure if you'd prolly notice any change, you could mess your jaw up too. not to mention there's no scientific evidence this works. the concept in itself is absurd, how do you think you'll move bones with your fingers?

Because your maxilla is held together by sutures, it’s not a solid bone. Sure, I believe the process of thumb pulling takes longer than a palate expander, but it could work.
Also, you say it could mess your jaw up. If that’s the case then it DOES do something obviously. If it doesn’t make any change then it wouldn’t mess your jaw up. I believe if it’s done right then I won’t mess it up.

i mean, TMJ isn't exactly the thing you want to happen, right?
you're applying external pressure to your joint, the only thing that is going to happen is just strain. and that strain is going to lead to muscle tension, inflammation and etcetera.

ill grant you, for the sake of argument, that thumb pulling could work even if it takes longer than a palate extender, and what i mean by "works" is just that it's able to move your teeth and bones

but then it goes back to what i said, you could still mess up your jaw. since the force is uncontrolled and arbitrary unlike palate extenders that are applying controlled, consistent pressure, then thumbpulling becomes risky and unpredictable. so let's grant that movement is possible, it's probably just going to lead to misalignment and further TMJ issues

I kinda want a palate expander tbh. But they only widen the maxilla, they don’t move it forward. My face is wide enough, but it lacks forward growth. Are there expanders that move it forward as well?

youre right standard extenders dont move it forward, im not an expert so you need to talk with someone that specializes in this field, like an orthodonist. i don't want to give you misinformation

but bonded rapid palatal expander (BRPE) or certain types of temporary anchorage devices (TADs), can allow for some forward positioning of the maxilla apparently

There are people with results out there bro. U can move some bones which dont require much force to weaken and move such as maxilla and zygos. But u are right, it will require alot of commitment and alteast an hour of pulling with proper tongue posture for the entire day.
