I've been doing thumbpulling for a while now
- pressure on the palatal suture and maxilla,
forward and lateral. I keep seeing claims about
bone remodeling and suture expansion, but most
posts are just "trust the process" with no data.
What I'm looking for:
- Has anyone seen actual width/forward
projection changes after 6+ months?
-Is there any research on mechanical force and
palatal suture remodeling in teenagers?
-Or is this just temporary swelling that goes
away when you stop?
Not interested in cope. Just looking for real
experience or studies. If you have before/after
with measurements, drop them.

Dnr never post again

Fair. By "swelling" I meant soft
tissue response, not edema.
But you're right - no studies
on thumbpulling itself. Do you
know if facemask/MSE results
are comparable to what people
claim for thumbpulling?just trying to figure out of the mechanism is the same or it's cope.
