So some time ago i made a thread about how thumpulling ruined my face but I think i did't give enough info. So here is an improved version.

I was thumbpuling ,and then one day one of my cheekbones started to move when i was mewing. After a few hours, my face looked pretty fucked but I think it's been getting worse. My cheekbones and jaw just dissapered. My cheeks are big af (I basicaly look like a chipmunk now), and my facial asymmetry has gotten worse. The lines on my face also look worse, and my bite feels off, which probably contributes to everything.

The reasons why I think it went so wrong
  • I’m missing a molar on the bottom of my jaw, which might mean less support for my face. After thumb pulling, the gap seemed to get smaller, which could explain the increased asymmetry.
  • I stopped mewing because my teeth started to feel loose, and I was scared I might damage or lose them.
  • When I try to mew, my whole tongue doesn’t fit properly on my palate, especially on the side where I’m missing a tooth
  • I might not have been applying equal force on both sides. That could explain why only one cheekbone was moving. Then again, the missing tooth and uneven tongue placement might also play a role.
Debunking possible answers
  • I didn't get fat. I actually looked better even when I was fat.
  • I'm missing a tooth for a very long time, so the changes shouldn’t suddenly come from that.
  • I'm not bloated. Bloat doesn't have that much effect and even after debloating i still look like shit.
I’m supposed to see a dentist next month, but when I previously went because my teeth felt loose, I was told it was just my wisdom teeth growing. After a few days, everything felt stable again and there was no pain, I don't think she's rlly gonna help me.

I genuinelly don't know what to do anymore.

17 yo, thumbpulled for like 2 weeks

On the right are photos of a guy who got rlly fucked so it works.

I am not a pro and it's possible that you have more knowledge, but to me it seems like his cheekbones got bigger (propably has something to do with muscles). Which maybe made his jaw look smaller as well.

i am doing thumbpulling(coping) for 7 months and my cheekbones just shifted maybe for 2mms max.
and the change isn't even that visible for me.

I fucked it in actually.
My right cheekbone is more protruding laterally.
Earlier it was sunken but now the harmony is fucked

Fuck same shit with the one moving cheekbone that I had. Are u doing something to fix it?

The guy that got "fucked" just expanded his maxilla on his right and not on his left. He would have ascended if it expanded symmetrically. There's 2 reasons this happened:
  1. he pulled harder on his right side due to being right-handed. He tried going full force but since he's stronger on his right he applied assymetrical pressure, leading to assymetrical results.
  2. he had bad posture and developed slight lateral strain (visible in the first pic) and as he thumbpulled the same process that slightly affected his face previously became a lot more noticeable

notice how his right side is a little better even in the first pic.

It's all fixable by just thumbpulling correctly and apllying alexander technique for better posture.

I'm supposed to go a orthodontist for a consulation about braces this month, which i need for an implant. Should i cancel and thumbpull? Not sure if it's a good idea because of the missing tooth. As I've said before the gap has propably become smaller

what tooth is missing?

Premolar on mandible
yeah js go to the orthodontist atp. I don't think a missing tooth on the mandible would really affect maxillary expansion but just to be safe you're better off getting braces.

So no way to reverse the damage now?

bro your face didn't change from 2 weeks of thumbpulling. I highly doubt it. but if you're 100% sure your face actually expanded incorectly in this short period of time you can reverse it pretty easily. Facepulling with a towel would compress your maxilla and reverse any expansion that could've ocurred in this time period. just do it for like a week and any real changes will be undone.

So it should be ok even with the missing tooth?
