yes brown fat is increased with respect to cold exposure, but Ive read a study where brown fat volume was decreased but its mitochondria were made extremely efficient (but I think this was in respect to metabolic rate). So I dont know if it can happen to hooding fat when using cold exposure. Id say do it slowly and use progress pics if you observe volume loss then stop, if you observe volume gain then continue
