even if it doesn't grow the chin tends to become more prominent with age due to fat redistribution.

It just looks more prominent but in actuality your bones slowly melt away and recess.

For me, it was around 22. Most of the growth was when I was a teen, but my jaw and skull in general by 23 looked different than when I was 18.

But don't expect it to be too significant. If you are 18 and have no jaw, you shouldn't expect the growth spurt to all of a sudden give you a Chad tier jaw.

Most of the growth will be between age 16-19

Can i ask how many mm's of jaw did you saw after 18 & if it was noticeable? An estimate?
