Time exists the same way maths(numericals) exist, they represent a given value symbolically for separated objects.
But if numbers didn't exist then time wouldn't exist, so in a way it is sorta inferior.

What exists is memory, presence and imagination. You live a present, the present becomes past as a memory, and you imagine a future. As both future and past don't exist, they are reconstructions of the present given in a time of the subject which is not real. The things you remember are never the same as what was present, so we can't say memory is part of time because only present exists.
