I am always wasting away. Someday it will be time for me too. Right now, I am a zero. I don't represent anything. I am empty. A carcass. I'm not even human anymore. I don't feel happiness, or sadness, or anything in between; I can't rope, because I'm already a corpse walking among the living. I can only ascertain that I am alive through my connection to others, and, slowly, I am convinced that my connection is as ephemeral as my life. I am nothing. I am dust. Ashes to ashes. Earth to earth.
