Cuz of social isolation I have no idea what people my age do or even look like

I didn't realise this until one time in the car these guys were walking past on the road and I was 18 at the time and saw them as my age cuz I've been socially isolated since 16 and then my mum said how old do u think they were and she said 16 and that's when it hit me

Only this year I realised how I always up till recently used to refer all women to girls and men to boys. I just never used the terms men and women as if I was a kid still.

The other time was when I went to the government for housing and 3 separate people on 3 separate occasions asked me if I had any friends to stay with like this "do you not have any friends you can stay with" and that's when it hit me how rare it is to be as isolated as I am

Same, I see some girls and HTNs partying and shit, and I have the thoguht "they must be around my age or slightly older, they can't be younger than me andalready do those things" and later on I realize they are14 and 15 years old. Depressing

I’m 29 and I feel threatened and mogged by almost all teenagers.

They effortlessly have JBs drooling over them while I have to get my bones cracked open and screwed back together with titanium plates and bits of plastic, just to get MTB roasties.
