Listened to this radio drama like 3 times over the past few days. It's great for bedtime e.g., highly recommend!
There's so much to say about the story, but what I really wanted to say with this thread is how much simpler life must've been when God was accepted as an obvious, unquestionable truth. There's always a red line, all throughout Salieri's life. Everything he does is basically the result of or in accordance with his love, and later on, his hatred for the God he so wholeheartedly believes in.
Meanwhile incels in 2023 become NEETs and struggle to even find a meaningful reason to get out of bed in the morning.
Question for atheists/agnostics: Would you choose to believe in God if you could do so, say, with the click of a button?
