I have this tingling on my hairline right now, not all over but partially on my right. I’ve had this prior (due to really bad eczema or a skin condition). I do have dandruff and it may even be seborrheic dermatitis. But I’m not sure what to make of the tingling/burning sensation. Could it be hairloss or could it be linked to the dermatitis/skin condition itself? I’ve noticed I’ve been shedding a lot lately, specifically from the front (like 40-50 strands today).

Damn son you should get ketoconazole shampoo, I used to have dandruff and I used to have an itchy tingly scalp, I would get regular dandruff shampoo but it never worked, I got ketoconazole shampoo and used it once and all the dandruff was gone. Its like a miracle. And, the use of it destroys the fungus on your scalp, so it slows down recession/thinning

Thanks. I just can’t believe it’s happening. I’m only 20 Jesus Christ.

Its really common, most guys start losing hair in their 20s. I would still see a doctor or dermatologist if you think its a skin problem like seborrheic dermatitis because they can prescribe extra strong stuff to get rid of the fungus on your scalp and clear it up. It also gets worse usually in the winter so maybe your recent tingling and hair loss could be because of that

I had this exact thing, got a fungal scrape and blood test from doctors. Said I was Iron deficient with my veg diet so started eating beef again and got prescribed Pevaryl Foaming solution to apply every night which fixed the burning sensation within 3 days.
And yeah get some proper shampoo with ketoconazole and piroctone in it

Glad to hear that. Although it’s strange on my end though because my diet is pretty meat based. Then again I’ve been skipping two meals a day for the past two weeks so prob.

Yeah it's kind of a hard thing to pinpoint for me. Do you find that if you put your hands through your hair there will be atleast 2-3 hairs that come with it? It's crazy cause the itching redness has gone down but the actually loss of hair hasn't improved too much

Yes I just did that now and four came out actually. But it doesn’t happen everytime I run my hands through. I do notice that most of the hair that does shed comes out from the front near my hairline though. On a side note, the itching just died down on my front, however it’s itching on my sides now.

Look at your scalp in the mirror and see if there is any redness and flakiness where its itching, that'll make sense where the majority of the hair is falling out. I've fixed the fungal issue but its still happening so I think its due to DHT raping my follicles so will probs go on minox or fin soon

Yeah there’s some redness and flaking on the sides of my hairline. However the front seems clear of any.
