I don't know about looks or whatever, but freahman year was the most tumultuousas far as hormones and mental clearity. You'll notice pretty quickly these a certain degree of maturity with the way people deal with eachother than previous years. I went to an all freshman campus so the maturity has nothing to do with sophomores, juniors and seniors. Along with the maturity you'll gain awareness of something else which I can't put into words.
