Just recently starting the gym again what’s the best ways and other things to ensure maximising my potential and any recommendations for work outs?

Your workouts dont matter if you hit every muscle twice a week and train to failiure that pretty much it but feel free to ask more

1. Choose a split you like (preferably one with 2x frequency each muscle per week, like Upper/Lower or Torso/Limbs)
2. Choose exercises you like
3. Create a workout routine that you keep the same every workout (There are plenty of tutorials)
and dont overdo volume/sets. Good indicator of that is progress, for example if you do 3 sets per muscle and train it again 3 days later and can keep progressing, it is doable. But if you notice performance drops on 4 sets you might be doing too much
4. Focus on form and intensity rather than the weight youre using (Doing 5 reps with good form and intensity will always be superior to using more weight and grinding to get 5 reps with shit form

and keep an eye that you make long term progress. For example adding weight or doing more reps on an exercise

Thats basically the workout part roughly. If you still got a question just reply

If you go to the gym 3 days a week hit full body workout every session if you go 5-6 you should have different days where you train different parts
