Tips on building a good portfolio

I’ve been investing for a little over 1 year now. Honeslty I was day trading trying to get rich quick like everyone. Obviously I’m smart enough to know that it isn’t sustainable and it’s gambling. I want to build a good portfolio for growth. I’m at the age where I can take risks so I don’t usually invest in etfs. Any tips on what a well balance portfolio would look like? Thanks.

I assume ur below 25. You can just skip etfs and buy single stocks. A well balanced portfolio for me would be 30% mag 7, 20% for whatever you feel like will grow in the future etc quantum comp or semicon etc DRAM (even though DRAM is an etf it's a volatile one that u bet heavily on the success on semicon), 10% on biomed stocks (sorta gamble but gains are mad). And the rest into infrastructure/energy stocks. That's at least what I did a few years back when I was younger.
