what are some lifestyle changes that can reduce stress?

I have some in mind

sleeping more and getting a proper sleep schedule

eating less shit food

going out more

Anyone got any tips or tricks?

I smoke already but am trying to quit, it’s winter here aswell and I jerk of daily

Sleeping yeah. getting out more will stress you out in the short-term if it's something you don't regularly do. Especially, if you get anxious around people. So I'd say go slow and ease your way into it.

Trust me. L-Theanine is incredible. It's like being high without being high.

I’m poorcel atm looking for a job 17 years old, also by getting out I mean walk the dog or something or see a friend not party or anything like

walking the dog usually makes me feel good and I can talk to myself and think witch I think helps with stress

Bro walking is one of the best things you can do for your mental and physical health. Walk as much as you can and start seeing your friends gradually more often. L-theanine is dirt cheap btw, convince your parents that a doctor recommended it and buy a bottle for 15$ that will last you months.

Thanks bro I will look into it, I am going to see if I can see a doctor tommoros for a checkup

btw I walk home rom school everyday and it is like a 6.5km walk so I am doing well for exercise

Make sure your sleeping area is clean and hygienic with good airflow. Most de-stressing just comes down to sleep quality. After that it is obvious things like having a circadian rhythm, avoiding processed/high-carb modern foods, avoiding alcohol and other drugs, and being physically active. We all know porn is bad, too much porn can cause mental damage. People consume too much news also, news that doesn't affect them and which they have no control over, only serves to harm your mental state. It's a good habit to delete news bookmarks and watch less tv news. Instead of consuming global news, try engaging more with your local community.

this and fcking cold showers or baths of like 1 degree water..i personally do it and its fcking awesome ..u forget every problem when the cold hits you..do wim hof breathing too

Here's what worked for me:

  • Eating one passion fruit per day (I like them with honey)
  • Taking cold showers (I might read for hours straight after a ice cold bath)
  • Fucking exercising
  • Melatonin as someone said above (0.5mg will do the thing, anything more will be a waste)
  • Balancing your macronutrients intake (stress might sign of carbo deficiency)

Talk to your friends, if you are autistic retard (who am I kidding, we all on this site are), find one, if people reject you even for friendship, do charisma maxxing. Watch some good feel-good films (Groundhog day is my go to), listen to ambient music, or even better some relaxing audiobooks with relaxing ambient as background.

No fap no sugar work out do cardio chill wirh friends find ways to make money study hard do your assighments on time if you move in the right direction with finaces and looks the chances of you ebing stressed or deppresed drop a lot
