the most common mistake you can make when getting into fashion (aside from wearing tiktok shop graphic tees and skinny mom jeans) is asking others what you should wear. fashion is a form of self expression. wear what you like, not what others tell you you should like.

see something you thinks look cool -> try and brainstorm some cool ways you could style it
if you can think of a way, go for it. if you can't, then it's likely you'll end up with a piece that stays on display in your closet.
