There may be other reliable US options I'm not aware of.

Expect ~6 months of recovery before being able to walk again unassisted ; and ~12 months before regaining most of your abilities.
You can have the nails removed ~18 months after lengthening surgery (outpatient procedure).

You will/should be able to work from home during the first 6 months post-op. So plan your career choice accordingly during that time frame.

Ofc it's possible, but at 5'5 you will almost always have inferiority complex as a man.

You can get 1000 hours therapy which won't change the fact that he is short, maybe he can just learn to cope. Or just get the surgery or geomax.

Never rope brah. I have a good friend who is 5’3 unfrauded and 5’6 frauded and does fine with the ladies. Just get bigger shoes. Make 5’8. No one will notice.
