I’m about to start, and I’d love to hear any additional suggestions. I don’t really have acne or breakouts, but my overall skin quality is poor especially around the nose area, where the tip is oily, porous, and large.

I’m planning to add hydrocortisone to my routine, but I’m unsure how to use it long term. Should I do something like two weeks on, two weeks off? I’ll consult a doctor.

My goal is to thin out the thick skin through long-term use and controlled atrophy.

However, what can be done specifically for the fatty tissue on the nose tip? I’ve heard nose tip liposuction isn’t effective and isn’t FDA-approved either. Honestly, I feel like rhinoplasty alone doesn’t deliver great results most of the time.

Start with the laser. Wait for the skin to heal 1–2 weeks, then begin tretinoin. The “fat” on the nose is usually not real fat it’s thick skin + enlarged sebaceous glands. That’s why nose tip liposuction doesn’t work. Rhinoplasty won’t fix it either unless skin is very thick and even then, results are limited.

I know… but what should I do?
I want to use CO2 laser, tretinoin, and hydrocortisone but I know this treatment alone won’t give me a perfect nose.
Even rhinoplasty doesn’t always help. Most of the best rhinoplasty results require a small, refined tip and a strong brow ridge.
My brow ridge is good, but my tip is too big.
So, what can I do?
