TMJ? And how could I fix it

I always get a pressing pain in my right cheek when I am doing hyoid/neck training and I am pretty sure it’s TMJ. I already got a orthodontist appointment in 2 weeks, but wanted to ask if I can already try to improve it before that? I got into the habit of clenching my jaw almost all the time and it does give the illusion of somewhat hollow cheeks but if it’s causing these pains I would like to know how to get rid of that

clenching itself is bad for ur teeth anyway, just clench for pics or smth. train ur masseters by chewing gum or smth to make it appear bigger. what helped me with tmj is massaging my masseters every morning and before going to sleep for like 5 min. relaxes the muscles. do it for like 2 weeks and it should not be a problem anymore. if its still there just ask the orthodontist.
