tmj is breaking my face

wtaf is happening. I do tmj exercises in attempt to fix/improve my tmj. Just now I was doing tmj exercises and my left jaw clicks twice now. If i open my mouth as wide as possible I hear one click followed with another. is this bad. (also the right side of my jaw doesn't click at all)
