TMJ surgery

Finally might see a specialist abt my tmj since there is a possibility that there could be a fracture. Is there anything that might make me want to avoid getting the surgery/want to get it?(aside from the lack of jaw clicks)

it really comes down to whether it’s structural vs just functional TMJ
if it’s actually a fracture, surgery is a lot more justified

either way just stay in touch with your doctor and see what they recommend
