Count yourself lucky that you were born in this age. Had it been in ancient times, the only way to ascend the hierarchy would be through looks and physicality aka pure genetic determinism. It would have been over the moment you were born. We still play the same primitive game but now we got all the structures built around us that we call civilization which you can leverage to ascend the dominance hierarchy. Wealth, good social network, owner of niche businesses that cater to girls (night clubs, event company, modeling company etc) come to mind.
