Many people try to lose fat by doing cardio only. They usually lose a ton of muscle and end up skinny-fat. Lifting weights prevents muscle loss and builds muscle.

It makes you look better. It therefore has priority over cardio.


You need to gymmax to leanmaxx properly !!

I’m going back to gymcelling tbh, calisthenics are hard to do when you lack basic strength. And this time I’m making sure to not care about the weight as long as the workout is solid

Gym is easy jfl at the fags ITT . 2 hours of hard gym is all you really need a week
 
who cares tbh as long as your FACE is lean enough. It's not like you'll walk around shirtless all the time.

I can but pullups I can’t do
I've been in the gym for over a year and I don't have the height (5'6") and grip strength to use the pull-up bars at my gym. I have to jump a fair bit from the ground to reach the handle bars. And I can't hold onto the handle bars for long enough to hang on them.

That said in the year that I was at the gym, I didn't know what the fuck I was doing.

In the mean time I am doing lat pulldowns in lieu of pullups on pull days.

I do hammer curls every pull day. And I do bicep curls and preacher curls on alternating pull days. And I do a lot of other exercises that recruit grip strength. So I am hoping that this will help me do pullups. But I think my height might be the biggest limiting factor. There's no way that I can lower the pullup handle bars at my gym. Maybe I need to buy a pull-up bar for my door off Amazon for $40 CAD.

I've always had the same routine, no gym, tennis + cardarine, and ice cream with pizza, and it has given me an alright physique, not one that gives my gym halo, but at least I get ab halo at the beach

How on earth do you have abs and a chest that good without spending any time in the gym? Surely you must be doing something outside of the gym to build your rectus abdominis and your pecs. Contrary to popular belief, abs are not made in the kitchen. While its true that your abs will not show if your body fat % is too high, you have to actually build the ab muscles underneath the fat for them to show.

tennis engages muscles bro, this guy for example has a semi similar physique to me albeit slightly higher body fat and larger muscle than me

If you have the frame and height to pull it off, just stay bulked. Bulking gives you more volume. It attracts high E sluts.

Sports mogs hard. I played a normie sport for the first time and it killed my core + arms. You need to play sports + gym for maximum gainz

Free weight mogs cardio lenmaxing wise as well

Cardio is better for your heart tho, but at moderate intensity

If i have to choose one i always take lifting over cardio is more beneficial overall

considering this is my physique doing the exact same routine as him (no gym, just tennis) I believe it's possible, he just got lucky with better myostatin than me
