To anyone that had rubber bands for an overbite that receded their maxilla, did you feel pressure on the maxilla instead of the mandible ?

When wearing them, was the pressure on the maxilla insead of the mandible like it's "supposed to" ? And that's why the recesion happend?

we have the same situation

the only difference is that i havent used the bands because im afraid of maxillary recession
