Is to be hated. Remember what Jesus said, a slave is not better than their master. If they hated Jesus they'll hate you too. If they obeyed Jesus they'll obey you too. This is just to fulfill what is written. I'm hated without reason. But to be such is to be one of God's chosen ones.
