If a woman knows you care about looks that's what she will go on about during an argument. It's not that she's a contradiction.

After 7 years of marriage my wife has never once attacked anything about the way I look during an argument. She might have attacked me with a meat cleaver a couple times, and shouted that my mother is a whore who's been fucked by 1000 men at the top of her lung, but she's never brought up my appearance. She might have attacked my intelligence about 100 times.

Girls aren't contradictions. They'll just try and use whatever they think you care about against you when they're hysterical. Don't confuse personality with morality. Girls don't give a fuck about morality as long as a man's willing to stand up for his behavior and not back down if anyone dissaproves. When they're talking about personality they mean they want an exciting guy that knows what he wants and doesn't apologize for it or beat around the bush. They're not talking about a "nice" moral personality.

Don't go for girls who follow celebrities or know too much about musical artists. And don't be so quick to think the attractive blabbering buffoon isn't intelligent just because he behaves that way in a social setting.
