To gymcels, at what point did you start to physically struggle on the big three?

On the bench and squat I personally noticed hitting my personal wall near the 250 ib mark. I could only bench 250 for a triple and it was a struggle on the last rep at around high 160s to 170. That's about it. Truth be told, the fat mark rippetoe worshippers are not stronger, they are just fatter with the same strength to bodyweight ratio.
 
I only struggle whenever I'm cutting.

if I can't add weight I add reps, if I can't add reps I try doing another set at the end, even if the set only has half the reps.

In my experience, I hit the wall the closer and closer I got to a 1.4 strength to bodyweight ratio. I can't speak for others though.
