To have empathy today is rare

People hide behind empathy: crying when animals die or refusing to do something out of morals, yet they are the least empathetic towards their own species. Being rude towards someone they so called “love” and doing things that harm others on purpose, this also applies to religious people I think Christians are the meanest. There is 0 point in trying to be nice or empathetic in modern times youll only get left behind.

It's good to be kind whenever possible. It won't always fuck you.

There's a huge difference between being kind from a position of strength and being kind from a position of weakness.

Yes i do lol people try and play an empathetic face but in reality dont care and will only act sorry if youve been through something like a death or depression so bad they cant comprehend it but even knowing this information they will still be the worst towards you

Most people don’t have the brain capacity to feel empathy especially towards someone we don’t know directly. Humans were a tribal species which max had 100 people. Now we have a couple friends and parents but we don’t have a community that we rely on and are friends which and spend all are time isolated. But majority of people cannot feel any empathy toward the average person. And a lot of people who do seem to have it only have empathy for those whose suffering they relate to.
