Today i had to talk to a deaf guy

Felt bad for not being able to communicate and being there standing like an idiot , he was communicating so well using signs a normal person will understand but my ahh even talked accidentally. I have never felt so bad I might start learning sign language again

He was really smart and communicating really well using signs, even understood my autistic ahh so well I'm really impressed but also disappointed in myself to not be able to communicate with another person well

I didn't have another option but this was a lesson for me to pick up sign language, I don't want other people to be not able to communicate to me just because of my refusal to learn something

Idk i would never put that much time towards something for anyone, its way too much effort I could not be fucked

You can talk to deaf people most can lip read just talk slowly and gesture if its something easy but sometimes u need paper to write on.
