I plan on eating next week. Thursday. Since day three, I’ve acquired a heightened sense of smell. Food smells different, better than normal. Something as simple as freshly baked roti smells so good. Even things I don’t like at all smell good, for example, the cooked vegetables from yesterday. It smelled really good. Of course, it wasn’t plain vegetables as it was seasoned as it’s done in Pakistani cuisine, but I genuinely would have eaten it, and probably even enjoy it, had I not been abstaining from food.

why are you not eating? I don't see the point in fasting for long periods of time tbh

Losing as much weight as possible in preparation for the fasting month that’s starting within three weeks. My eating frequency will increase, which means more weight. I want to off-set it as much as possible. So I’ve got some time and I’m locked in.

Yes, it’s starting in mid-February. Last year, it started in March, I think. That’s probably why you think it’s supposed to be next month. The Islamic calendar has only eleven months, so each successive Ramadan is one month earlier in the calendar that we use. The worst ones are the summer ones, because the days are the longest; and the best ones are the winter ones because the days are the shortest. February is fine, it’s neither long nor short.

Frick!! I wrote a long paragraph to this but it got erased. Anyway, yes and yes. Not sure about healthy, but I’ve done this before. My “record” was eating on day 8. In 2021. This time, it will be eating on day 9.

I wouldn’t recommend this, ngl. Most people make the mistake of eating a lot when they’re done because they’re like “Well, I didn’t eat for X amount of days, so it’s fine.” The key is to keep your eating to a minimum even after the fast.

My body is weird, bhai. I have no choice if I want to lose weight. See, I am already in maintenance with just 1000 kcal, even though calculators say I need 2000 kcal to stay in maintenance. Eating just 500 kcal below my maintenance isn’t going to cut it, unfortunately.

I plan on doing this naturally, like I’ve done so in the past. I did this twice before with great results. In 2019, I went from 70 kg to 52 kg and in 2024, I went from 85 kg to 59 kg in four or five months. I let myself go on purpose, which I shouldn’t have. XD

I didn't know like half of that lol I probably should though cause my family is muslim

I don't really believe in islam anymore after becoming blackpilled but I still participate and go to masjid during ramadan for the community & food.

I remember some of my most fond memories are from this month its nice the fasting was never that bad for me even as a kid I used to do the chirri roza (half day fasts) lol

I couldn't get past 2 days with energy drinks too:feelsokman:
I mainly drink a cup of chai (without sugar, but I would even drink it with sugar if I want to, although I don’t) and Coke Zero. But I bought some energy drink yesterday which I plan on drinking today. :Okay:

Sounds like you’re South Asian! And at least you go to the masjid, even if you pray, it sounds like you are still somewhat practicing. Mogs me because I don’t really pray. Not because I don’t believe, but I’m very unmotivated. :FeelsRainMan:

Bro do u have pot belly like majority of south asian have ? If yes then it's big effort to loose naturally like strict diet , exercise etc but if u hop on reta or unnaturally it will be easier also give it a try and share your experience u aren't going to kill yourself and u can document it and make a post on how worth it is . Sure it's like experimenting but this is one of the peptide that works. I personally don't need reta I'm completely opposite of this hard gainer.

Yes, I have those cursed South Asian fat-storing genetics. :FeelsStrongMan: Indeed, it’s a big effort to lose it naturally, I mean.. who else goes days without eating just to lose a few kg? :KEKLEO: I’ve managed to do this twice strictly through a diet, no exercising. But since recently, I’ve started going to the gym. Although I haven’t gone since this fast because I was on a three-day fast and I got lightheaded after deadlifting. :HAhaa: I appreciate the encouragement but I feel like I can go without supplements. I will definitely recommend it to people I know irl who desperately need it. They fast like I do but they’re still fat after all these years because they can’t stop overeating.

Just like me bhaijaan. :RainbowDance:

Well even if you go only during Ramadan, you still deenmog me. Unironically you’re a better Islamic person than I am because you still pray. Even during Ramadan I barely pray.

Just talking from a religious perspective, I know you don’t feel religious. But tbh, I think you can be blackpilled and religious as the same time.

How old are you now?

Nga that's not supplement that's whole nuclear . Alright i won't push it but hey just for if u feel like experimenting it go on it . It's easy and safe compare to other type of peptides.

I only pray the maghrib prayer at the masjid and very rarely taraweeh if my family who I go with decides on it.

I'm not sure about being religious and blackpilled at the same time it feels contradictory because life is so unfair and I just cant bide my time and pray everyday for an afterlife that I don't even know really exists. Why couldn't I have what I wanted in this life?

Currently im 16 turning 17 soon I stopped feeling religious around 14-15 when I found this site and consuming more blackpill content in general

I was irreligious/atheist during your age, but became religious after high school.

I don’t think it’s contradictory because being blackpilled to me means nothing more than “Your looks determine your success in life.” That doesn’t go against Islamic principles, in my eyes.

The whole other shebang that other people have turned the blackpill into, I reject that altogether. To me the blackpill is just that simple sentence I wrote.

Are you in the west?

What made you irreligious/athiest during highschool and why did you switch to becoming more religious after? What changed

Oh okay, I’m in the Netherlands. I have an in-law who lives in Canada now.

I became irreligious/atheist because since the first grade of elementary school, I had to go to the mosque from Monday through Thursday, against my will.

When I went to high school, I was given the choice to continue going or quit going. I obviously chose the latter.

And then I just stopped caring about religion altogether, even going as far as to not believing in Islam or any other religion. I don’t know when I became religious again exactly, but at some point I started doing research into it and it all made a lot of sense to me.
