Told that I don't need infraorbital implants and to get fat grafting instead? (skull pics included)

Went to consult with a blackpilled surgeon a few months ago. Originally, I was going to get infraorbital implants for weaker undereye projection, hollows, and negative vector.

The surgeon turned me away after seeing the CT telling me to get undereye fat grafting instead --- but after I measured the infraorbital vector itself afterwards via the standard method (globe and corneal plane), the result comes out as objectively, mildly negative (across every attempt).

Anyone have any insight here? Should I still try to get infraorbitals with another surgeon at some point or am I in the clear just to do fat grafting?

I think you're right, but there seems to be a cautionary tale among some people on here that fat grafting over a negative orbital vector is a bad idea

I meant that my infras look better now visually, because fat was injected on them. The bone itself remains unchanged obviously

how do you measure it

Used Radiant Viewer ($5 / month software) to render the DICOM skull CT in the Frankfort plane then I used the technique described on Eppley's blog ... tbh, this is likely not be reliable as there are some other techniques I found that would give me a neutral vector verdict, so it comes down to aesthetic judgement from someone who actually has medical experience with facial implants (def not me).

Thanks g, cl might be a stretch these days (a lot of looksflation over the past couple years). I get carried by harmony, indicators of health, and niche appeal. My infras have been starting to failo me as I got older due to the loss of undereye fat pads with age, so now I'm back

It's actually amazing how telling a CT scan of the facial skeleton is. The volume of the jaws in the CT scan reveal conclusively how defined your jawline will be.

I thought it was a meme when I was blabbering about maxilla shape earlier in the year, but FUCK it's true.

It's amazing how I'm even alive at this point.
