His quips are so unfunny, hes a medicore actor, plus in terms of physoque and body type he doesnt even look like spiderman either plus i didnt even resonate with his first spiderman movie homecoming. I thought it was so cringe and that he didnt even seem confident in his spiderman persona which hes supposed to since no one knows who he is so he can be more arrogant and crack more jokes. Hes legit iron man jr. Fuck him andrew garefield is the best spiderman, watched both of his movies thousands of times as a kid. Best live action spiderman by far

I agree. I think a lot of it's to do with the script. Every scene is a set-up for a bad joke.
MCU Spiderman suffers from an inability to take itself seriously.

I agree also the way they used him losing his powers as a way to show that he was truly unhappy and that he had to overcome his mental block and accept his responsibility as a superhero. It was amazing especially when he saved that girl from the burning building

Yes. Peter's characterisation in the second film is really strong.
They totally nailed it in a way that no other Spiderman film has managed to achieve.
